| An awards ceremony will be held at the White Church following the Best-of Show judging (approximately 4:30 P.M.). Competition entrants are invited to attend and accept their awards in person. Because of space limitations, entrants who are not judging or stewarding are asked not to arrive before 4:30 P.M. | |
| Our Promise to You | |
| The NEFRHBC is dedicated to providing Homebrewers with constructive feedback on the qualities of their beer as perceived by experienced beer judges. | |
|

| Judges Info: | ||||||||||
| A light breakfast will be available from 8:00 to 8:30 AM. | ||||||||||
|
The judging is to start by 9:00 a.m. , sooner if possible. Please plan to arrive by 8:00 a.m. , so that we can make final assignment of judges by ability to appropriate beer categories and do a calibration-test-beer. |
||||||||||
| Please check your assignment upon arriving and inform the organizers of any problems or conflicts. | ||||||||||
| There are a number of seasoned judges who are attending with an infusion of new or novice judges. The plan is to match one seasoned judge with a less experienced one and to have an apprentice(s) work with each pair. We will do our best to accommodate judges to review a style of their choice. A number of judges have entered so that this poses another level of conflict in assignments. | ||||||||||
| Lunch will be served at the end of the first session. Food will also be served at the end of the judging session. | ||||||||||
| The Best-of-Show judging will take place immediately after the afternoon judging session. | ||||||||||
| An Awards Ceremony will be held immediately following the Best-of-Show judging, at approximately 4:30 PM. All judges and stewards are invited to attend. | ||||||||||
| JUDGES are needed to judge beers in all categories, plus cider and mead. As this is the first time we will be including mead in our competition, we would appreciate judges indicating on their registration forms whether or not they are experienced in judging mead | ||||||||||
| Judges should be recognized by the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP), Apprentices are also welcome on a space available basis. | ||||||||||
| First preference will be given to judges who register early. We Really Need Judges .. | ||||||||||
